Karin van der Walt is a passionate and experienced Behaviour Therapist, Neuroscience and ADHD Coach, and specialist educator with a strong foundation in psychology and learning support.
Holding a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Development from the University of Pretoria, Karin’s career has spanned South Africa, Zimbabwe, and the United Arab Emirates, where she has worked across clinical, school, and community-based settings.

We are pleased to welcome Karin van der Walt to AYZA Health Ketamine Clinic as our new consultant. Karin is a dedicated Behaviour Therapist specializing in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).​
Karin brings a unique blend of expertise in psychology, special education, and positive behavior support. Her work focuses on individuals with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, and complex learning needs, with a strong emphasis on family-centered and multidisciplinary interventions. She has collaborated with speech and occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists to develop holistic, individualized support programs that truly make a difference in people’s lives.Her approach emphasizes enhancing communication skills, social interactions, and daily living activities, thereby promoting greater independence and quality of life. By collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams, Karin ensures that her therapeutic strategies are comprehensive and holistic.

​As a public speaker and workshop facilitator, Karin has presented at international conferences and regional training events, sharing her insights on autism advocacy, inclusive education, and mental wellness. She is also known for her creativity, warmth, and ability to connect deeply with both children and adults.

At AYZA Health, Karin's expertise will be instrumental in developing personalized treatment plans that may incorporate innovative therapies, including ketamine-assisted interventions where appropriate.
